A campervan furniture kit is the fastest way from an empty van to a finished, usable interior — the kitchen, bed, storage and seating designed as one system and cut to fit your exact vehicle. Done well, a kit takes the guesswork, the wasted materials and the trial-and-error out of a self-build, and gives you furniture that fits properly, uses every inch, and looks like it belongs in the van rather than something bolted in afterwards.
We’re building our range of CNC-cut furniture kits at our Darwen workshop, near Blackburn, for campervan builders across Lancashire and beyond. Because every panel is cut on a CNC machine from a design measured to your van model, the fit is precise and repeatable — no rough-cutting on site, no gaps, no fighting flat-pack that was never made for your vehicle.
What a furniture kit includes
A full kit brings together the main furniture elements of a conversion, designed to work as one build rather than parts that happen to sit next to each other. Depending on your van and layout, that typically means:
- Kitchen units — worktop, sink and hob housing, cupboards and drawers
- Bed systems — fixed beds, folding beds or bed-and-storage platforms
- Storage units and overhead lockers — cupboards, lockers and overhead storage
- Tables and seating — folding tables, swivel seat bases and dinette seating
You’ll be able to take a full kit for a complete interior, or individual elements if you only need part of the build. And because the kits are cut to your van, they’ll be offered by van model — so a kit for a VW Transporter fits a Transporter, and a kit for a Ducato fits a Ducato.
Why CNC-cut, not flat-pack
Generic flat-pack furniture is made to a standard size and hopes it fits your van closely enough. CNC-cut furniture is the opposite — the design is measured to a specific van model, then every panel is cut by machine to that exact specification. The result is a tighter fit, cleaner joints, less wasted space and a far better finish. It also means consistency: the hundredth kit is cut to the same precision as the first.
For a self-builder, that removes the hardest and most error-prone part of a conversion. You’re not templating curved van walls with cardboard, cutting ply in a cold garage and hoping it lines up — you’re assembling panels that were designed to go together and fit the vehicle from the start.
Kits for self-builders — and a fitting service
The kits are aimed at people converting their own van who want the furniture done right without doing it from scratch. But if you’d rather we fitted it, we can — we already build full campervan conversions and partial conversions at the workshop, so a kit can be something you assemble yourself or something we install for you as part of a build.

What’s the difference between a kit and a full conversion?
A furniture kit is the furniture — kitchen, bed, storage and seating — cut to fit your van, for you to assemble (or for us to fit). A full conversion is the whole job: insulation, electrics, plumbing, windows and furniture, all done for you. A kit is ideal if you’re happy doing your own build but want the furniture done to a professional standard.
Will a kit fit my van?
That’s the whole idea. Kits are designed and cut to specific van models, so they fit that vehicle properly rather than being a one-size-fits-all product forced to work. When the range launches it’ll be organised by van model, and if we don’t yet cover yours, registering your interest tells us which models to prioritise.
Can I buy just the kitchen or just the bed?
Yes — the plan is to offer full kits for a complete interior and individual elements if you only need part of it. So you’ll be able to take just the kitchen, just the bed system, or the lot, depending on your build.
Do I have to fit it myself?
No. The kits are designed so a competent self-builder can assemble them, but if you’d rather we fitted it, we can install a kit for you as part of a conversion at our Darwen workshop.
