WeConvert is a campervan and motorhome workshop in Darwen, near Blackburn, covering the full range of conversion, repair and upgrade work under one roof. Whether you’ve bought a converted van that needs putting right, you’re upgrading a self-build, or you just want a job done properly by someone who works on vans every day, this is where to start. Everything is done at our Darwen workshop, just off junction 5 of the M65, by appointment, for customers across Blackburn and the wider Lancashire area.

Repairs & Fault Finding → Something stopped working? We diagnose and repair faults on existing conversions — electrical problems, charging faults, leaks, heating issues and damaged fittings — starting with a proper assessment. Electrical & Solar → Leisure batteries, solar, inverters and 12V systems, sized to what you run and installed properly. From a single upgrade to a complete habitation electrical system. Diesel Heater Installation → Webasto and Eberspächer-style diesel heaters fitted and commissioned — reliable, efficient heat that keeps the van usable through the colder months. LPG Heating & Hot Water → Truma and gas heating and hot water systems installed, serviced and certified, with gas work carried out by a registered engineer. Water Systems & Plumbing → Fresh and waste tanks, pumps, sinks, showers and full plumbing runs — designed and fitted so your water system just works, day in, day out. Insulation & Carpet Lining → Thermal insulation, sound deadening and carpet-lined interiors — the groundwork that keeps a van warm, quiet and finished properly before the furniture goes in. Interior Modifications → Furniture, storage and layout changes to an existing conversion — reworking what you’ve got so the van fits how you actually use it. Windows & Rooflights → Cut-in windows, rooflights and ventilation, sealed and finished — more light, more air, and a properly weatherproof job. Pop-Top Roof Fitting → Elevating roofs fitted to VW Transporters and similar vans — standing room and an extra sleeping space without a full high-top conversion. Awnings & Accessories → Awnings, racks, steps and exterior accessories fitted — the finishing touches that make the van easier to live with and travel in.
